Goal: Run for three minutes, walk for three minutes, repeat five times for thirty minutes, three runs this week one CT.
Fourth Run- "3.8 Wii Miles," No Kylee, Inside, Good Pace
Okay, so it was freezing out (literally) and I couldn't start my run until nightfall, so I wussed out and ran inside instead. While hooked to the wiifit, I ran around and around and around the living room until I got bored and ran the opposite direction. Then flipped directions again. And again. Yeah, the wii is not really as inspiring as running outside, but it gets the job done, though without any real faith in the wiifit's "miles" it's hard to know if I was pushing myself as hard as I do outside. Plus jumping over Kylee and Ben when they obstruct my run kinda throws me off. Lots of distractions did make the run go by quickly, though, so that's a plus.
Fifth Run-2.37 Miles, No Kylee, FREEZING. First time to run outside in 39 degree temps. Was cold until I hit my second run segment, then I was warm, but sweaty, then I was cold during my walks but hot during my runs. Considering investing in some under armour or similar should the weather refuse to cooperate. Hat and gloves were a sound investment as they kept my fingers and ears from freezing off. First time I made it in and out all of the cul de sacs in our neighborhood as well as around the park and around the track. Need to find a slightly longer route as I kind of ran out of track and did some back and forths in front of the house, which is annoying.
